Patrick is a Columbus Ohio native, with over 17 years of experience in music. Currently, he holds a degree in Jazz Studies/Guitar Performance from Capital University . Patrick has over 5 years of experience in teaching guitar and bass to all ages and experience levels. 

He has studied with musicians such as Stan Smith, Tom Davis, and Michael Cox, Roger Hines, Zach Compston, and Zakk Jones. He enjoys playing all styles of music, but has professional experience in Jazz, Funk, Rock, Pop, Metal, and World Music.

He started playing guitar at the age of 7, in 2008. His early inspiration to play guitar was his family’s influence of music on him.

Some of his biggest musical inspirations include Frank Zappa, Yes, King Crimson, Steve Hillage, Pat Metheny, Jim Hall, Wes Montgomery, Chick Corea, Miles Davis, Wayne Shorter, A.C Jobim, among many others.

Patrick has a lot of experience playing with others, and values musical connections to others in his life. Patrick has performed in a variety of ensembles including Big Bands, Jazz Combos, Rock bands, and his own bands, such as Crabswithoutlegs, Intercurrents, Caterpillar Protilith, and Silvia Mori.

Patrick has won many awards for his performances and compositions, including the Greater Columbus Arts Council's "Artist Funds Grant", Mark Fluggee Jazz Award, Nicholas Perinni Scholarship, and the River Richards Memorial Scholarship.
